"A human being is a part of the whole called by us the universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest....This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in all its beauty."
Albert Einstein

Welcome to the Collegium Fabrorum.

The Collegium Fabrorum is a Spiritual, Philosophical, and Scientific academy with local and online learning opportunities for those interested in pursuing a path of personal enlightenment. It contains elements of Eastern and Western wisdom combined into a unified system based on relational ethics. In particular, it perceives the logos of the ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus and the Tao of the Chinese master Lao Tzu as harmonious expressions of universal truths.

"Nature is seen as an interconnected, dynamic network of relationships that include the human observer as an integral component.  Any parts of the network are merely relatively stable patterns.  Correspondingly, natural phenomena are described in terms of a network of concepts, in which no part is more fundamental than any other part."

The Collegium is structured after the school of Pythagoras at Croton, and incorporates his mathematical concepts into its curriculum.  It views mathematics as an important part of the total enlightenment experience and attempts to deepen its members understanding of the universe through programs on General Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, and String Theory (M Theory).

In keeping with its Pythagorean roots the Collegium also attends to politics, current events, and environmental issues.  These are subjects which ultimately affect all of humanity and all life on Earth.  They are, therefore, considered genuine concerns of anyone on the path of enlightenment.

The Collegium Fabrorum provides a unique opportunity for those seeking enlightenment and personal growth to embark on a lifelong journey of exploration and discovery.  Through a tiered approach of study, students will be offered guidance in Spiritual, Philosophical, Political, and Scientific matters so as to develop themselves and recognize their role in society and our global environment.  Students will acquire a profound appreciation for the interconnectedness of everything, thereby igniting a call to purposeful action in their lives.
